We hope you had a wonderful Halloween celebration. I loved watching my students transform from students... into clowns, Medusa, and witches!
I am so proud of each and every student who ran for Senator of P-1. It takes a lot of bravery to get up in front of your peers and speak confidently, and you ALL did an outstanding job representing the needs and wants of the students in P-1. Keep being brave and taking risks! On Friday, we shared at Assembly. Our topic was "Rules and Expectations When a Substitute is in The Classroom." The class chose to do a game show and there were Halloween themed teams. So proud of my class! Students, what was your favorite part about getting the share ready to present? For example: My favorite part was writing the questions with my group. I liked this because we all got to think of our own ideas. Today Mrs. Martin came to our class to teach us all about Native Americans. She taught us all about the natural resources in our environment and how the Native Americans used them in their daily life. We went on a nature walk and discovered lots of the things that she talked about were right across the street from John Lyman! Have a headache? Need to draw or write something? Milkweed, bone setter, nuts, berries- so many neat and useful things. Student Question: Students, what was your favorite part of the walk today? |
