We are planning for our St. Patty's Day party. Mrs. Francis' class had a student bring in 58 shamrocks. Miss Hillard's class had a student bring in 46 shamrocks. How many more shamrocks did Mrs. Francis' class bring in than Miss Hillard's?
Write a number sentence in your response and include the answer. You need to write a solution sentence as well. (example: Mrs. Francis' class brought in _____
Mrs Francis's class brought in 58 shamrocks and
Ms Hillard's class brought in 46 shamrocks.
Mrs Francis's class has 12 more shamrocks than Ms Hillard.
58-46=12

Nice work Brenden :-) If you change the 1 in 12 to a 3, how much does the value of the number change by?
